Represented Mewbourne in election dispute with non-operator. Mewbourne sought declaration that non-operator had missed its opportunity to participate in a newly drilled well. Non-operator argued that Mewbourne had not effectively triggered the non-operator's window to elect into the well under certain pooling orders and pre-pooling letter agreements. After Mewbourne moved to exclude non-operator's experts and for summary judgment, the parties entered a confidential settlement.
