Nicole Hager Fingeroot and Hayden Q. Hawkins Selected for 2026–2027 OGERL Leadership Academy
Energy litigation firm Hogan Thompson Schuelke LLP is pleased to announce that associates Nicole Hager Fingeroot and Hayden Q. Hawkins have been selected for the 2026–2027 Leadership Academy of the Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law (OGERL) Section of the State Bar of Texas.
The OGERL Leadership Academy is designed to assist up-and-coming Texas energy attorneys in deepening their knowledge of the oil, gas, and energy sectors. Through the program, participants gain access to specialized leadership development, mentorship from OGERL Council and Committee Chairs, and opportunities to participate in key Section projects and CLE programming.
Both Nicole and Hayden bring extensive oil, gas, and energy litigation experience to the OGERL Leadership Academy. Nicole has experience litigating high-stakes, industry-shaping matters across federal court, state court, and federal administrative agencies, specializing in distilling complex facts and legal frameworks into clear, persuasive arguments. Hayden represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex energy litigation and commercial disputes in forums across the country, with experience ranging from high-stakes contamination claims to wrongful death suits.
